Under the direction of the RN Supervisor, the LPN Wing Supervisor carries out the medical plan of care and oversees the Nursing Assistants' care of residents and High School Students to insure that resident care is carried out in accordance with good nursing practice and applicable State and Federal regulations.

Must possess a current license in PA or a temporary work permit - Required at time of Interview!
Must possess knowledge of: medical asepsis, body mechanics, personal care of residents, correct use and care of equipment, observation techniques, reporting and recording, thorough knowledge of nursing theory and it's application
Must be willing to possess knowledge of and comply with regulations, policies, procedures, contracts and philosophy of the institution
Must maintain a courteous and professional manner toward residents, visitors and co-workers and a dedication to meet the needs of the elderly
Must have awareness of cost containment, utilize time fully, and properly care for equipment
Must possess ability to accept and follow written and verbal directives
Must utilize good communication and observation skill
