Patient Access Representative Provides accurate and efficient outpatient or ER registrations.
Entering complete demographics and insurance information into the computer system.
Confirms insurance data by copying insurance cards and through online insurance benefit verifications to assure payment to the facility.
Obtains necessary signatures and routes patient to appropriate service areas.
Collects co-pays when appropriate.
