*Job Summary: *Provide evidence based, person centered mental health services to children, families, and adults.
*Education & Experience:*
* *Mental Health Counselor I:* Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related qualifying field for LMHC or LMSW with eligibility for licensure required;
* *Mental Health Counselor II:* Licensed Master’s Degree in Social Work (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) or Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC); Mental Health Clinician with Limited Permit for licensure
*Other Requirements & Skills:*
* Must have valid driver’s license, insurability, and reliable transportation.
* Must pass Justice Center, State Central Registry and Criminal background checks.
* Experience with assessment and evaluation of psychological disorders.
* Knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices, trauma informed care and person-centered treatment approaches.
* Knowledge of crisis intervention and stabilization, which includes, but is not limited to suicide prevention.
*Primary Responsibilities:*
* Assessment and evaluation of Mental Health (MH) clients presenting for services
* Screening and risk assessment of MH clients
* Person-centered treatment planning in collaboration the client and the treatment team.
* Provision of therapeutic interventions
* Participation in multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings
* Case management including coordination of care amongst all treatment providers involved in clients’ care
* Completion of required documentation in a timely manner as outlined in the DCS Policy and Procedure and in keeping with funder requirements.
* Must be enthusiastic about promoting the mission of CCA, be willing to work towards the good of the entire agency, and to act as an ambassador of CCA throughout the community
