Patient Services Representative - Part-time

- Answer incoming calls and provide assistance to patients and their families - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or fees - Assist with patient registration and check-in process - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records - Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns - Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations - Follow established protocols for handling emergency situations, such as contacting the ER or other medical professionals Requirements: - Previous experience working in a healthcare or medical office setting preferred - Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus - Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information Job Type: Part-time Pay: $16.
