We are a private, independent, pediatrics practice looking for a full-time nurse (LPN or RN with an active New York State license) to join our team.
The successful candidate will greet our patients (even the smallest ones!) with a warm smile and help them feel welcome during their visits with our office.
The candidate must have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Staff nurses room patients, collect and document vital signs, administer immunizations and medications, perform simple laboratory testing, and provide excellent customer service to parents and patients.
The candidate will have the dedication required to put the needs of the patient first and support the practice's long history of providing quality care for children and adolescents.
The practice uses a state-of-the-art EMR program and prefers candidates with strong computer and typing abilities.
The practice covers expenses for nurses to obtain and maintain PALS certification and malpractice insurance.
Medical office experience is preferred but not necessary.
The candidate must be dedicated to serving the local pediatric and adolescent community and be ready to assist the practice in following all American of Academy of Pediatrics guidelines.
