Registered Nurse (RN)- Oncology

We are looking to hire a Registered Nurse to work at our Jamestown, NY location.

Essential Duties: Assess patient needs and act as liaison between the providers and patients to communicate health information Ability to successfully access Mediports, start IV’s and perform therapeutic phlebotomy services Assist with chemotherapy and biotherapy education Enter orders into the EMR system following the organization’s policies and procedures and following the providers written direction Complete appropriate and thorough documentation in a timely fashion Assist with rooming patients as needed Participate in the triage of patients; answering patient calls, assisting patients to determine the urgency of care required, work with the providers, serving as a liaison to provide health information and advice Mixing, hanging, and handling chemotherapy and biotherapy daily Other duties as assigned.
