Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team at a reputable Medical Spa in Dunkirk, NY.
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and supporting healthcare professionals in various clinical and administrative tasks.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for aesthetics, healthcare and a desire to make a positive impact on patients' lives.
Duties:
- Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, collecting patient history, and preparing patients for examinations
- Assist healthcare professionals with medical procedures, including botox injections, semaglutide injections, IV hydration, and TRT replacement
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring proper documentation of patient information
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling phone calls
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective patient care delivery
Requirements:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and basic physiology
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is an asset (aesthetics perferred)
-Light housekeeping, cleaning exam rooms between patient care, emptying garbages at end of shift, restocking exam rooms with supplies, etc.
