*Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room*
*Location: Dunkirk, NY*
*Shift Schedule: Nights 7p-7a 3x12*
*Blended Rate: $3000/WK*
*Stipend: $1162/WK*
Responsibilities:
* Assessing and triaging patients quickly and accurately upon arrival in the Emergency Room.
* Collaborating with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients.
* Administering medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
* Monitoring and documenting patient vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition.
* Responding promptly to emergency situations, including providing CPR and other life-saving interventions as needed.
* Educating patients and their families about their condition, treatment plan, and follow-up care.
* Assisting with minor procedures and wound care as necessary.
* Maintaining accurate and thorough medical records, including charting and documentation of interventions.
Qualifications:
* Valid and current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an emergency room or critical care setting.
* BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
