Interventional Radiology Technologist

*!!URGENT NEED FOR A INTERVENTIONAL RAD TECH IN ROCHESTER, NY!!* - A facility in Rochester, NY is looking for an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- *REQUIREMENTS:* * Minimum 2 years recent experience * Philips or Siemens equipment experience preferred * Has worked in a Hospital setting * NY State DOH Rad Tech License * ARRT Certification * Vascular Interventional (VI) Certification preferred * Epic/Care Connect experience preferred * Travel experience preferred - *ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:* Start date : 04/01/2024 13-week contract 40 hrs/week * 4 X 10hr Shifts (Day Off Can't be Monday or Friday) | 7:30am - 6:00pm * On-call responsibilities as needed.
- *DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Assignments are routine; follows established protocols.
Works under close supervision, seeks guidance where needed; requires some instruction on day-to-day work and resolves routine problems.
* Documents care / teaching consistent with documentation guidelines.
* Maintains a clean work environment and communicates any equipment malfunctions to appropriate department/unit personnel.
* Engages in impacting professional, positive and productive physician relationships.
* Prepares and assists in the administration of contrast agents by monitoring dosage and determining any potential allergies and ensuring compliance with department policy and procedure.
* Maintains patient information within picture archiving and communication system (PACS) and in other computerized medical records systems to ensure accurate patient records.
* Participates in on-going process improvement activities related to patient and customer satisfaction.
