Personal Care Assistant (PCA) - Jamestown, NY

is now hiring Personal Care Aides looking for work in the Jamestown area.
These cases can be harder to staff, and we will make it worth your time! We are looking for *NYS certified PCA/ HHA/ CNA's* to support our clients in their everyday lives.

Experience in housekeeping tasks and caring for the elderly or sick will make you a strong candidate.
*This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is:* * Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous * People-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects * Detail-oriented -- takes pride in their work with a focus on the details *Responsibilities* * Ensure clients receive their medication on time * Support clients who can’t move on their own * Help clients dress, bathe, eat etc.
* Assist clients with physical therapy exercises * Cook meals according to the customer’s restrictions * Help customers with their shopping * Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment * Provide emotional support * Inform physicians or supervisors about uncommon events * Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency *Qualifications:* * At least 18 years of age.
* PCA/ HHA certification (CNA's encouraged to apply as well) * Have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly.
* Ability to carry out verbal and written directions.
* Caregiving/ Direct Patient Care: 1 year (Preferred) *Schedule:* * Day shift * Night Shift * Weekends * Sunday to Saturday * On Call * Overtime * Flexible Schedules *Work Location:* * Jamestown, NY but could travel elsewhere.
