* Administers and records medication, treatments, and monitoring.
* Accurately transcribes physician's orders.
* Completes monthly summaries promptly.
* Reviews and updates care plans with NAs monthly.
* Notifies RN Supervisor promptly of significant resident condition changes.
* Communicates resident transfers to family and department heads.
* Assists physicians with rounds, examinations, and treatments.
* Collects and arranges delivery of laboratory specimens.
* Supervises and assists with post-mortem procedures on resident death.
* Encourages resident participation in activities.
* Reports changes in resident condition and care plan updates to the team.
* Assists with annual evaluations of nursing assistants.
* Maintains accurate resident belongings inventory.
* Monitors NA documentation for compliance.
* Attends required in-services and meetings.

* Nursing Home Experience - a plus
* New Grads welcome to apply
* BLS (AHA) - Required
* COVID Vaccine - Preferred but not required
* Must possess a current license in PA or a temporary work permit - Required at time of Interview!
* Must possess knowledge of: medical asepsis, body mechanics, personal care of residents, correct use and care of equipment, observation techniques, reporting and recording, thorough knowledge of nursing theory and it's application
* Must be willing to possess knowledge of and comply with regulations, policies, procedures, contracts and philosophy of the institution
* Must maintain a courteous and professional manner toward residents, visitors and co-workers and a dedication to meet the needs of the elderly
* Must have awareness of cost containment, utilize time fully, and properly care for equipment
* Must possess ability to accept and follow written and verbal directives
* Must utilize good communication and observation skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $54,000.
