Warren State Hospital is looking for a Quality Assurance/Risk Management Coordinator to be responsible with the management and direction of a comprehensive risk management program and is also responsible for monitoring hospital compliance with all federal and state laws, regulations and standards.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK As Quality Assurance Risk Management Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, directing, integrating, and evaluating compliance with a myriad of laws, regulations, standards, practices, and policies which impact upon the overall operation of the hospital, both from a clinical and non-clinical perspective.
You will direct, manage, evaluate, develop, and implement plans and procedures to minimize risk throughout the hospital, both clinically and non-clinically.
In this role, you will supply positive actions to ensure all issues with a potential for adverse impact upon the hospital, patients, or staff are appropriately addressed.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Hours of work are 1st shift (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM), Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
Overtime and travel as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Quality Assurance/Risk Management Specialist; or Three years of professional experience as a member of a multiple disciplinary treatment team in a public or private health care facility and a bachelor's degree; or Three years of clinical experience in a human services agency, including two years of administrative, evaluative, consultative or supervisory work in a health care program; and a bachelor's degree with major course work in social work, nursing, health care administration, behavioral sciences or a related field; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require satisfactory completion of a medical examination.
This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
