Position Summary:
Primary duties will include unloading and inspection of deliveries, sorting and confirmation of correct items and quantities, registration, bar code creation and application to all items, inventory movements and product receipt entries.
Background in Dynamics AX 2012 or other manufacturing or distribution software, barcoding, inventory control.
Also looking for communication and record keeping skills using Outlook, Teams, Excel.
Other skills such as overhead cranes, fork lift.
Requires valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Requires ability to accurately read and use a tape measure
Position requires working out of our headquarters in Lewis Run, Pennsylvania.
2nd shift, Monday through Thursday position.
10 hour shift.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Verify parts and quantities of parts received match what is shown on vendor packing lists and on company purchase orders.
Note missing or damaged cartons on carriers’ bills of lading.
Notify Purchasing Department of any discrepancies or damages.
Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy.
Neatly and accurately complete necessary paperwork: timesheet, 5S checklist and requisitions for production materials.
Maintain correct stock quantities through cycle counts.
Must be able to read blue prints and calculate dimensional requirements for production materials.
Deliver or route materials to departments using hand truck, conveyor, or sorting bins.
Safely operate forklift to load and unload trucks.
Carefully operate cranes, hoists, or other moving or lifting equipment.
Regularly check shelves to determine items needed for stock replenishment.
Pull overflow items necessary to fill these shelves.
English Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as purchase orders, packing lists, production orders and Material Test Reports.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak and project a professional image to visitors and customers.
