*Summary/Objective:*
The General Labor Machinist operates machines to fabricate finished parts to specifications, The Machinist loads parts in the machine, cycle’s machine, and detects malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools.
The position communicates with co-workers regarding productions runs, and maintains a safe, organized, and clean work environment.

* Quality Control: Perform in-process inspections and use precision measuring instruments to verify the quality of machined components.
* Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot machining issues, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal machine performance and part quality.
* Safety and Maintenance: Adhere to safety protocols and perform routine machine maintenance to ensure equipment remains in peak operating condition.
* Process Optimization: Continuously improve machining processes to enhance productivity, reduce cycle times, and minimize scrap.
* Other duties as assigned.

* Precision Machining: Demonstrated expertise in machining complex parts with tight tolerance.
* Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve machining issues effectively.
