The Machinist loads parts in the machine, cycle’s machine, and detects malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools.
The position communicates with co-workers regarding productions runs, and maintains a safe, organized, and clean work environment.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Follow company policies and procedures.
* CNC Programming: Create and modify CNC programs based on engineering drawings and models.
* Machine Setup: Set up and prepare CNC machines, ensuring proper alignment, tooling installation, and workpiece fixation.
* Quality Control: Perform in-process inspections and use precision measuring instruments to verify the quality of machined components.
* Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot machining issues, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal machine performance and part quality.
* Safety and Maintenance: Adhere to safety protocols and perform routine machine maintenance to ensure equipment remains in peak operating condition.
* Process Optimization: Continuously improve machining processes to enhance productivity, reduce cycle times, and minimize scrap.
* Other duties as assigned.
*Education:*
* Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
* Precision Machining: Demonstrated expertise in machining complex parts with tight tolerance.
* Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve machining issues effectively.
* Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to qualify control and adherence to precise specifications.
* Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide clear updates on machining projects.
