*Maintenance Technician*
Hiring now for a Maintenance Technician.
This role will maintain and repair factory equipment associated with the manufacturing for a metal stamping plant.
Repairs include mechanical, electrical 3 phase, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC , and facility repair and maintain: lighting, plumbing air & water, overhead doors and electrical maintenance.
:
· Completes preventive maintenance per the schedule
· Schedule outside maintenance services as needed
· Maintain organized working department
· Train and utilize students on CO-OP and work study
· Compete OSHA related inspections for facility and equipment
· Support need of production schedule
· Foster autonomous maintenance with production operators
· Adjust, repair, rebuild, monitor, paint, or clean any piece of equipment, or any system owned by the Company, make repairs and revisions to the building(s) and grounds as needed.
· And other activities as assigned
High school diploma or GED.
Must have equivalent work experience with mechanical aptitude with broad trouble shooting abilities.
Any additional training is beneficial.
* Corrective lenses and safety glasses to be worn.
· Must be able to stoop, kneel, crawl, bend while on the job.
* Will be on your feet a vast majority of the day.
* Capable of lifting and moving items that are associated with this job function.
Company has material handling items that can be used when lifting exceeds 50 pounds.
* Will require occasional stooping, kneeling and bending.
* Capable of using the internet to explore tools, spare parts, better ways to do things etc.
