Your Job Georgia-Pacific's Corrugated Packaging division is hiring a Service Representative to support our corrugated packaging business in the Northeast region.
People buy from whom they like, but it is also about the service they receive! The Service Representative will be a crucial part of the Commercial Team that will be responsible for servicing top strategic accounts.
In this role, you will be spending time in front of key customers and working with our National Accounts Team to ensure GP is the preferred supplier to our strategic accounts.
This role is a home-based position with expectations to be in the sales field up to 60% of the time.

This position reports to the Area Sales Manager.

We are open to candidates residing in or near the following locations: Southern and Western New York Northern PA Willing to relocate to a reasonable proximity in sales territory What You Will Do Build strong relationships with strategic national accounts by delivering quality products, excellent service and on-time delivery Identify and implement solutions to optimize the customer's packaging needs, improve product performance and reduce waste at the GP box plant Work cross-functionally with various GP capabilities and serve as the link between your customers and GP internal teams such as customer service, quality, design, production, accounting, shipping, etc.
Maintain a high level of visibility and communication with national account customers Visit customers regularly to review quality initiatives and take action based on customer feedback and insights Assist in conducting item trials with customers Reconcile credits issued at month end with customers Visit nearby GP facilities as needed for team meetings, sample collection and distribution Foster a long-term partnership between GP and your customer beyond the day-to-day interactions Support the GP quality team on customer visits to ensure quality compliance Demonstrate technical skills daily using tools such as Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, etc.
) Log activities/data in Microsoft Dynamics CRM Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Corrugated industry experience or in lieu of industry experience 2 or more years of outside sales/ B2B experience or a bachelor's degree in packaging science, operations/manufacturing, engineering, business administration, or related field Open to travel up to 60% within the assigned territory For this role, we anticipate paying $80,000 - $100,000 per year.
This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
