Sit Down/ Stand Up Trucks 2nd Shift
The forklift operator is responsible to load/ unload and move materials (trash/ recyclables/ Cardboard) by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
Operate a variety of forklift equipment to load, unload and move materials around the Plant.
Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion
Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
Comply with OSHA and SDS Standards.
Work environment will consist of regular exposure in a manufacturing setting.
Fast-paced environment and repetitive tasks.
Frequently lift up to 35 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn and pivot.
Drug test and Pre employment physical are required for this position.
2nd: 2:30pm - 11pm Monday - Friday
Overtime is mandatory and based on production schedule.
Experience
1+ years of previous industrial material handling experience in a manufacturing facility preferred.
Training is available to candidates based on applicant experience in related fields.
Stand Up Fork Truck experience a Plus
Skills/Knowledge
Ability to maintain forklift certification.
Ability to read and interpret written instructions and to write intelligible reports.
Knowledge of plant lay out including location of materials.
Plant safety policies and procedures.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be certified by C&W Services to operate fork-lift before he/she can be put to work.
(We will train you and certify you through CW Services)
